We had a busy fall season which included more service events and fundraising. While we've really enjoyed the convenience of Zoom meetings, it sure has been nice to get together in person while helping out our community.
October 10 - Member, John Knisley rallied the troops for another park clean up, this time at Arsenal Park. Our crew did a fantastic job and is developing quite the relationship with Indy Parks.
October 17 - Member Lejo Harmeson organized the Fall Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser at Blind Owl Brewery. As always, the food, drinks and service were good and funds were raised - over $300.
December 3rd - A few members attended the East 10th Street United Methodist Children & Youth Center Annual Fundraising Dinner & Auction. Our group usually sponsors a table and attends this event; however, this year they joined by Zoom!
December 5th - Members Charlotte Cox, Phill Darrah, Mary Kummings , Mike Wise, John Knisley, Lejo Harmeson, and Brad Higgins, set too on ground clean up at Jameson Camp. We were able to get both sides of the road cleaned up along the length of the camp, in case you wondered we completely filled the 30 yard trash dumpster including a convertible car top, laptop computer and a few hundred dollars in funny money.
